Hostirian, L.L.C., a leading provider of business class shared, dedicated and colocation services, today launched a line of Virtual Private Servers (VPS), to provide XEN cloud-based virtual packages for those customers with hosting requirements that extend beyond a shared hosting environment.

Citing customer feedback, Hostirian has begun offering five XEN cloud-based virtual private server packages, ranging from a Starter VPS that’s ideally suited for stand-alone services like a private proxy, small email server, VPN endpoint or DNS server – up to a Business VPS that rivals many dedicated server plans, at a fraction of the cost. These new VPS packages offer the same complement of operating systems and software components expected of a dedicated server.

The new virtual private server packages are the Starter, Starter-Plus, Personal, Standard and Business VPS, ranging from $9.95/month to $99.95/month. From 256MB of dedicated memory and a 1 X 2.40GHz Xeon Processor to 3072MB of dedicated memory and 4 X 2.40GHz Xeon Processors, these packages are designed to address their customers’ specific hosting requirements, providing them with a scalable solution from a shared hosting environment to a dedicated server.
