The Xen.org community has finally announced information around its upcoming XenSummit Asia conference being held November 2-3, 2011 in Seoul, Korea. As usual, there will be a fee to cover the cost of XenSummit and will require you to register for the event. The cost will be between $125 and $200. And they will open registration 4 weeks before the event.
The summit will be hosted in the Hana Square Auditorium on the Science Campus of Korea University. Given that Korea is the home of the Xen ARM project, led by Samsung, there should be an interesting conversation around Xen on ARM at the summit. You can also expect Xen research and developer talks and some Xen user stories. You should also expect to hear a lot of cloud related content such as “Deep Dive into OpenStack” and “Skylark: Easy Cloud Computing“. Ian Pratt, Founder and Chairman of Xen.org and SVP of Products at Bromium, will also be in attendance and will give an overview of Xen and how it and its community have evolved in 2011.
By next week, Xen.org expects to have a complete speaker line-up, schedule, hotel discount information and will be able to open registration for the summit.
Until then, you can also keep checking this page for more XenSummit Asia information.
