Wyse Technology, the global leader in cloud client computing, today announced
its platinum sponsorship and full participation in Citrix Synergy Barcelona
at the International Convention Centre of Barcelona (CCIB) on 26-28 October
2011. Delegates to the second year of this hugely successful European event will
be able to experience the latest Wyse cloud client computing solutions
throughout Citrix Synergy including at the Wyse booth #202 next to the main
Citrix booth in the Solutions Expo.
Citrix Synergy Barcelona will be an ideal opportunity for visitors to explore
and experience how Wyse is working to enable more enterprises to transform
desktop computing into an on-demand service while lowering the cost of
maintaining desktops.
Notably, the event will update visitors about the success and newly announced
capabilities of the Wyse Xenith zero client family launched in 2010. Built
specifically to respond to the demand for a zero client that could deliver the
complete HDX experience, Wyse Xenith delivers that experience with zero delays,
zero management, zero security risks and very little energy use. Both the
original Wyse Xenith and the new Xenith Pro models will be demonstrated at the
Wyse booth, as well as being used extensively at the Citrix booth among other
areas of the event including Atlantis Computing, Cisco, Cortado (formally known
as ThinPrint), Lakeside Software and RES Software.
Wyse will also be showcasing its latest breakthroughs in cloud client
computing solutions. Visitors will be able to experience the world's fastest
ever thin client, the new Wyse Z class running dual screens and rich multi-media
applications. To show how cloud client computing can replace PCs on an even
wider scale, Wyse will demonstrate how its new budget-friendly Wyse T50 thin
clients enable business-class virtual desktop performance to be extended into
smaller organizations and departments.
Additionally, Wyse will be showing how its new T class thin clients are the
ideal endpoints for Citrix's innovative VDI-in-a-box solution that offers an
ultra-low cost option for small businesses wanting to benefit from desktop
virtualization.
For organizations looking for higher security and reliability in mobile
computing, Wyse will demonstrate its latest mobile thin client solutions. This
includes the Wyse X90m7, a next-generation 14" mobile thin client with high
performance HD multimedia capabilities, as well as the sleek Wyse X90c7 mobile
thin client that features the benefits of other Wyse virtual clients in a
smaller form factor ideal for the mobile worker. Because Wyse mobile thin
clients have no hard drives and no server-side data stored on the device, mobile
workers no longer have to worry about exposure of sensitive data to unsecure
environments.
Wyse will be speaking at Citrix Synergy Barcelona about how virtual desktops
are proliferating into the mainstream of enterprise computing infrastructure:
