VaultLogix, the only online backup provider focused on delivering a solution customized to each business customer’s specific data backup needs, today announced the launch of support for VMWare ESXi in the Internet Vault Classic (IV-Classic) solution.

The latest version of the VMWare agent for IV-Classic allows users to install one instance of the agent on a VMWare VSphere virtual server and backup and restore multiple Virtual Machines simultaneously, without requiring that the agent be installed on each VM it is backing up. The version of the agent also adds compatibility with ESXi implementations of VMWare VSphere. Users can use these backups to restore entire virtual machines for disaster recovery, or simply restore virtual disk files when only restoring data is necessary.
