Citrix Synergy 2012 in San Francisco may be over, but for me, the buzz generated during the show just took another awesome twist!
While at the show, VMblog did its best to try and keep up with everything that was going on. If you were there in attendance, you know this show was jam packed with things to do, hear and see. It didn't disappoint to be sure. If you want to see some of the great videos and photos captured during the show... again, make sure to check out the Events page on VMblog, here: http://events.vmblog.com/
Ok, so what's the awesome twist?
Last week, I found out that I won the grand prize with something called Feed the Synergy Buzz Contest. I did so by blogging, tweeting and posting videos and photos of my Synergy experience.
The social media channels were more active than ever. If you followed #CitrixSynergy on Twitter, you know there was plenty of great commentary and feedback about the Geek Speak Live! track, formal breakout sessions, Hands-on Learning Labs, the Keynotes, the Solutions Expo, the Synergy Party and lots of other event activities!
Everyone who participated by feeding buzz to #CitrixSynergy helped keep a great real-time dialogue going with attendees; and for non-attendees, it allowed them to stay up-to-speed on the activities and the atmosphere going on at Synergy in San Francisco.
It is an honor to be named, recognized and to win this Feed the Buzz award. And a special congratulations to all 10 winners of the contest, and to everyone else who helped feed the buzz. Thank you to Laura Whalen and team Citrix for the show and the contest and for selecting me; and it was a big win for all of the Citrix Synergy attendees for being able to be a part of this really informative and well run event. I love going to the show each and every year!
And heck, I got the chance to speak with Citrix CEO Mark Templeton up close and personal on the exhibit floor, how cool is that?
