The cool folks over at VKernel are putting together a new contest. They understand that sometimes people struggle when they need to do certain tasks and those folks have probably said to themselves at one time or another, "if only there was a tool that could make this less painful."
Well, now is the time to not only help yourself but others as well and have some fun along the way while doing it.
VKernel is in the process of collecting all of these painful tasks, and based on the ideas submitted, they said they will create one or more tools to address these VM admin pain points. Pretty cool, right?
And as an added bonus - the best ideas will be rewarded!!!! Yes, that means prizes for your submission(s) if they win.
Here are VKernel's rules:
- Contest is open September 17th - October 1st
- You may submit more than one idea
- Winners will be announced October 15th
- Submission must include a problem description and how to solve it
- Judges are looking for ideas that can affect many VM admins and provide high value
- Ideas should be easy to implement as this is a FREE tools contest, after all :-)
