A few days ago, The VAR guy published a video where VMware CEO, Pat Gelsinger explains, the Nicira acquisition, software-defined networks and VMware’s ongoing relationship with Cisco Systems.  The VAR Guy was in the audience during this press conference at VMworld 2012 where they captured this video.  It emphasizes the importance of virtual networking as a fundamental pillar in a software-defined data center.
