Virtual Bridges, Inc. today announced additions to the company’s executive team including Greg Barone, vice president of sales for Americas; Billy Gee, vice president of development; and Sundeep Goel, vice president of alliances and channel sales.

A seasoned sales veteran, Barone brings 20 years of experience in sales and sales management for technology companies, ranging from startups to multi-billion dollar corporations. Previously, he was vice president of sales at Hyper9 (acquired by SolarWinds) and vice president of sales at Cognio (acquired by Cisco Systems). Barone has also led sales growth at startup software companies Reaction Design and Syntricity, and held sales management positions at Fluke Networks, Samsung and Advanced Micro Devices.
In his new role, Gee will lead engineering and development for Virtual Bridges’ award-winning desktop virtualization solutions. Throughout his career Gee has been instrumental in bringing to market dozens of products, including technologies that span cloud computing, mobile, virtualization, disaster recovery and more. Prior to joining Virtual Bridges, he served as vice president of technology solutions for Contract Land Staff, LLC, a land acquisition and management services company, and also held leadership positions at Univa UD (merged with United Devices), Veritas Software, The Kernel Group (acquired by Veritas), Compucare Management Systems and Tivoli Systems.
As vice president of alliances and channel sales, Goel is responsible for Virtual Bridges’ strategic alliances with VARs, distributors, system integrators and technology and platform vendors. A proven sales and alliances leader, Goel brings more than 13 years of enterprise software experience managing alliances, channel sales, sales engineering, sales operations and professional services. Prior to joining Virtual Bridges, Goel served as vice president of alliances and channel sales at Skire, Inc. (acquired by Oracle) where he built out the company’s global software reseller channel. He has also held key roles at Lombardi Software and BuildForge (both acquired by IBM) managing relationships with strategic global systems integrators to drive incremental software revenue through strategic channel partners.
