Online Tech Now Offering Free 30-Day Trial of Azure Cloud Optimization Product SprawlGuard Protection

Online Tech is pleased to announce that for a limited time, its managed Microsoft Azure offering with SprawlGuard protection is available for a free 30-day trial.

SprawlGuard protection is a cutting-edge public cloud cost containment tool specifically designed to help organizations manage and control their public cloud spend. It is part of Online Tech's broader service of managed Microsoft Azure, which includes patch management and deployment assistance as well as dedicated Azure support from Online Tech's world-class engineers.

According to RightScale's 2018 State of the Cloud report, managing cloud costs is a challenge for 76 percent of organizations. In response to this market need, Online Tech developed SprawlGuard protection for Microsoft Azure. It allows customers to see their spend quickly at a glance and offers tips and suggestions to optimize workloads that they might not have known about. All charges are broken down into a simple monthly bill, saving customers time and frustration of struggling to understand their Azure charges.

"Our goal is to help organizations manage their Azure public cloud better, including optimizing their environment to save them thousands of dollars each month," said Nick Lumsden, Vice President of Technology and Product Strategy at Online Tech. "We understand that companies need help managing the sudden and rapid expenses that the public cloud can incur, and SprawlGuard protection aims to help curb those costs while providing a single window and simple bill for their entire environment. I'm delighted we can offer SprawlGuard protection free for 30 days so that companies can see for themselves just what this technology can do for them."

Trial users will get full access to all of the benefits and features that current SprawlGuard clients have. This includes SprawlGuard Advisor, which offers customized tips and cost saving suggestions, and sprawl hunting capabilities that actively seek out non-persistent or abandoned workloads running in Azure and alert you to them.
