Aerohive Networks today announced the publishing and availability of the "802.11ax for Dummies."
The book explains the imminently approaching 802.11ax standard, the key
enabling technologies and enhancements in the standard, along with the
Aerohive's family of 802.11ax access point solutions.
"802.11ax
is the next fast-approaching Institute of Electrical Engineers (IEEE)
standard that addresses today's biggest challenges: High density and
performance," said David Coleman, senior technical evangelist at
Aerohive, Certified Wireless Networking Engineer (CWNE) #4, and
co-author of 802.11ax for Dummies. "It addresses those challenges by
increasing capacity by up to four times and improving spectral
efficiency to benefit both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands in a variety of
environments. 802.11ax defines high efficiency (HE) technology that
promises to be the most significant change to Wi-Fi since the debut of
802.11n MIMO radios in 2009."
