CodeLathe Announces Availability of FileCloud with Metadata Support in the Microsoft Azure Marketplace

CodeLathe, a provider of the cloud-agnostic enterprise file sync and sharing (EFSS) solution FileCloud, today announced availability of its latest FileCloud with metadata support in the Microsoft Azure Marketplace, an online store providing applications and services for use on Microsoft Azure. FileCloud customers can now take advantage of the scalability, high availability, and security of Azure, with streamlined deployment and management.

FileCloud's solution on Azure includes the metadata feature to help enterprises organize files effectively, simplify content discovery and improves governance. FileCloud's new features are designed to meet the needs of diverse Azure customers across many industry verticals. FileCloud's apps for iOS, Android and Windows provide mobile access to remote enterprise files stored on Azure. In addition to remote access, users can use FileCloud mobile apps to share files, edit documents and automatically backup media from mobile devices to Azure.

"As businesses and governments embrace the cloud, many are seeking enterprise cloud storage solutions that offer better data ownership and control," said Venkat Ramasamy, COO, FileCloud. "FileCloud helps organizations run their own enterprise file sharing and collaboration solution while leveraging the scalability and reliability of Microsoft Azure. With our offering, customers are granted the freedom to choose where their files reside - whether public, private or hybrid systems."

The Azure Marketplace is an online market for buying and selling finished Software as a Service (SaaS) applications and premium datasets. The Azure Marketplace helps connect companies seeking innovative, cloud-based solutions with partners who have developed solutions that are ready to use.

"Through Microsoft Azure Marketplace, customers around the world can easily find, buy, and deploy partner solutions they can trust, all certified and optimized to run on Azure," said Sajan Parihar, Director, Microsoft Azure Platform at Microsoft Corp. "We're happy to welcome FileCloud to the growing Azure Marketplace ecosystem."
