Pythagora Launches Secure Spaces, Setting a New Default for Security in the AI-Generated Internal Tools

Pythagora launched Secure Spaces, marking the first time a platform offers built-in access control and security architecture that makes every app private, isolated, and safely integrated by default. Secure Spaces transforms the way security is handled for AI-generated internal tools, solving one of the most urgent challenges facing software teams as tools are created and deployed at unprecedented speed and scale.

Rather than retrofitting authentication, compliance, or permissioning at the end of a build cycle, Secure Spaces introduces an entirely different model: one where applications are born isolated, private, and secure by default.

“Secure Spaces is not a feature. It’s a foundation,” said Zvonimir Sabljic, founder and CEO of Pythagora. “If we’re going to let AI build real internal tools, we have to stop bolting security on at the end. Every application needs to start with strong, opinionated defaults that protect data, users, and systems without slowing teams down.”

Pythagora redefines how AI-generated apps connect to users, data, and internal systems, safely and at scale.

This begins with a reimagined architecture. Each application is encapsulated within its own Secure Space, a fully isolated runtime that functions as a private security perimeter. There is no shared memory, no cross-app exposure, and no credential leakage between environments. Only explicitly invited users can view or interact with an app, and all credentials and integrations remain sealed inside the environment. Every app is private from day one, with zero access until access is granted. Whether connecting to databases, APIs, or sensitive systems, teams can build confidently, knowing security is enforced at the infrastructure level. Teams can focus on functionality and collaboration, with security, isolation, and access control handled automatically by the environment.

Secure Spaces also ensures it is safe to connect to internal APIs, databases, and other business systems. Data stays local, credentials never leave the runtime, and developers can connect confidently knowing integrations are contained within an encapsulated environment.

With the rise of AI-generated software, Secure Spaces represents more than a feature launch. It introduces a new operational model for handling security when applications are created by machines, rather than manually coded by humans. In the AI-native era, where internal tools are built faster than ever before, Secure Spaces eliminates the long-standing tradeoff between speed and safety. Developers gain instant velocity. At the same time, platform and security teams maintain enterprise-grade control, all without configuration or slowdown.

Unlike traditional internal tooling platforms that rely on shared environments and post-build security patches, Secure Spaces makes protection automatic and enforced by design. This shift allows teams to innovate freely while maintaining the same level of rigor as production software.
