StorMagic and Mako Networks have announced a partnership focused on helping distributed businesses improve the reliability and management of IT across remote locations.
The partnership combines StorMagic SvHCI, a hyperconverged infrastructure platform that provides highly available compute, storage, and virtualization at the edge, with Mako Networks’ secure SD-WAN and cloud-managed networking platform. Mako’s technology provides PCI-certified centralized network management, secure connectivity, and failover capabilities.
The combined offering is designed for businesses such as convenience stores, fuel retailers, and quick-service restaurants, where disruptions to local infrastructure or connectivity can affect payments, customer experience, and store operations. Many of these locations also have limited on-site IT resources, increasing the need for remote management, secure connectivity, and local resiliency.
The partnership also expands the MakoVerse ecosystem, Mako Networks’ community of technology partners. By bringing together edge infrastructure and cloud-managed networking, StorMagic and Mako Networks aim to help customers reduce deployment complexity, standardize IT services across multiple sites, and strengthen operational resilience without requiring local IT staff.
