Blue Mantis has launched Mantis Genius, an AI-enabled service that assesses cloud security, spending and configurations across Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure environments.
The service is designed to help organizations understand what is running in their cloud environments, identify potential risks and costs, and decide which issues to address first. Blue Mantis says early assessments have uncovered security and configuration issues that clients had not previously identified.
“Mantis Genius compresses that discovery process into days or even hours. It helps us show Blue Mantis clients what they may be missing, explain which issues matter most, and give them a practical path forward,” said Jeff Cratty, vice president of cloud and innovation at Blue Mantis.
A Mantis Genius assessment reviews infrastructure, spending patterns, security exposure, compliance gaps and configuration issues. It delivers a report with recommendations prioritized by urgency, potential impact and level of effort. Blue Mantis experts then review the findings with the client and develop a plan to reduce risk and improve the cloud environment.
Organizations can use the service after a change in IT leadership, following an acquisition or ahead of an audit. Blue Mantis also offers ongoing reviews to help clients track new risks, spending inefficiencies and progress against their plans.
