Softricity Launches Virtualization User Groups

Quoting from Softricity's Press Release:

Softricity, the on-demand application virtualization company, today announced the launch of the Softricity User Group program. The program is intended to help the company's more than 500 customers share expertise and knowledge about Softricity application virtualization and on-demand streaming technologies with other users in their region.

"Adoption of the Softricity Desktop platform has reached a critical mass," said David Greschler, co-founder and VP of marketing, Softricity. "Based on the terrific feedback we've had to ad-hoc customer gatherings, we realized our customers would benefit greatly from a more formalized venue for collaborating on best practices and sharing tips and techniques with local colleagues in other organizations. Customer response to the user group program has been phenomenal."

Global Softricity customers who attend the user groups will be able to:

-- Learn best practices in implementation, administration and use of Softricity products

-- Obtain answers, advice, tips and suggestions from experts

-- Gain access to a network of peers for collaboration and information exchange

-- Receive information about new and upcoming Softricity products

-- Participate in beta programs

-- Influence the direction of Softricity future products

-- Enhance skill sets with technical content created for users by users

The first user groups are scheduled in Boston, MA on April 3 and New York, NY on May 2, 2006. Softricity is also encouraging customers who are interested in attending - or organizing - a Softricity User Group meeting in another city to fill out its User Group interest form (http://www.softricity.com/support/usergroup-reg.asp?).
