SWsoft Launches SiteBuilder 3.0 for Windows with Drag and Drop, Dynamic Modules and Upgraded Interface Usability
Quoting from SWsoft's Press Release:

SWsoft, a recognized leader in server automation and virtualization software, today announced the availability of SiteBuilder 3.0 for Windows. SiteBuilder 3.0 for Windows is an upgraded product release of the next-generation, browser-based application designed to quickly and easily create and edit websites. This new version represents a major upgrade over SiteBuilder 2.0 for both end users and administrators.

Originally announced in September 2005, the SiteBuilder for Windows free promotion will last through September 30, 2006. The free promotion includes 12 months of free product updates and email support, and the license for the last current free version will never expire.

“Hosted applications such as SWsoft’s SiteBuilder for Windows provide a strong business proposition for the growing number of Windows-based service providers,” said Pascal Martin, general manager of Worldwide Hosting at Microsoft Corp. “Service providers are able to attract a new segment of customers by offering innovative web-based applications hosted on Windows that help drive up the average revenue per user.”

“SiteBuilder for Windows has received more than 16,000 downloads and delivered many more active sites in less than one year,” said Serguei Beloussov, CEO, SWsoft. “We are working closely with Microsoft and service providers worldwide to accelerate end-user adoption of hosting packages with this unique application and promotional offer.

SWsoft’s SiteBuilder for Windows is a next-generation, Web-based site builder application for quickly and easily creating and editing websites. In five simple steps, customers can create and deploy attractive, full-featured websites without any previous site-building experience.

New SiteBuilder 3.0 features for end users include:

  • Drag & Drop Support – Now the SiteBuilder WIZARD supports drag and drop during multiple steps, advancing the software’s usability and the user’s flexibility allowing them to drag and drop desired components.

  • New Dynamic Modules – Eleven newly improved modules make this version of SiteBuilder even more powerful and flexible.

  • Improved Blog Functionality – Now end users can create standalone blogs or add them as part of a traditional website to serve a wider range of users.

  • Photo Gallery – This feature allows end users to add and modify a photo gallery. End users can manage an unlimited number of photos and have the capability to choose templates and customize photo displays.

New administrator features include:

  • New Interface with Desktop – Administrators can now easily navigate and manage the application. Frequently used items are easily available for managing users and customizing offerings quickly and efficiently.

  • User Management – Now the application has a multi-level users system with support for resellers. Each owner of an admin panel has the capability to create and manage websites and configure parameters depending on the access level.

  • Site Management – Administrators now have the ability to install different site management levels. Each site has a unique set of rights and parameters created in the management module of the application. Administrators can also create trial sites.

  • Plan Management – This new release has improved plan management capabilities which allow Hosting Providers to set up different plans depending on the service level required by a specific set of customers. Each plan can support various limits and permissions.
