Parallels Workstation for Mac reaches Beta 2

Parallels thanked its some 30,000+ beta testers of its Mac Workstation 2.1 product.  With the help of these Beta testers, Parallels was able to find and correct many of the problems found in the early beta release, very quickly.  Beta 2 is now available for download.  In it, you will be happy to know the following has been corrected or added:

Major Beta2 Fixes Include:

  • Full audio support in guest VMs
  • Kernel panic in network driver fixed
  • Kernel panic when click "Report a problem" menu item
  • WiFi networking issues resolved 
  • Real CD/DVD issues
  • Fedora 5 installation crash

Well, Beta 2 was good, but Beta 3 is better.  Still some bugs, but hopefully it'll all be sorted out before long.
