Because he couldn't sleep (sorry about that by the way, I hope you eventually were able to catch some Z's), he was able to help out the community by sharing his methodology and processes for creating a virtual machine from a physical server.
Using an image of a physical server created with Acronis True Image, a helper VM containing the tool set needed, VMware's P2V software, and a little know-how on his part, he walks us through the process and leaves us with this final thought...
"Don't expect that if a server is running badly that virtualising will fix it. Always remember a poorly configured physical server will be a poorly configured virtual server" - an unknown yet wise VMware person.
