IDG's InfoWorld, the leading integrated media brand for IT solutions management, today announced that it will host a press/media/analyst luncheon briefing at 12:30pm on Monday, September 25 at the Roosevelt Hotel in New York City. The agenda includes a research presentation, access to key speakers and vendors, as well as other information on the emerging 'enterprise virtualization' opportunity. Press members will also have the opportunity to attend all sessions in the two-day conference. Press members may register to attend by visiting: http://www.VirtExecForum.com and using the promotional code: "PRESSVIRT" to bypass payment options.

InfoWorld's Virtualization Executive Forum is designed to demystify the path to successful virtualization of the enterprise. InfoWorld's multi-dimensional communications program focuses on the benefits of various virtualization approaches, including server, hardware-assisted, storage, application, and desktop virtualization. InfoWorld also identifies benefits of linking these different technologies as part of an 'enterprise virtualization' infrastructure.

Novell is the cornerstone sponsor. Platinum-level sponsors include: EMC, Intel, PolyServe, Red Hat, and VMware. Gold-level sponsors include DataSynapse, Egenera, Emulex, IBM, Kingston Technology, and Microsoft.

"By championing a new approach to virtualization, InfoWorld continues to build out emerging market opportunities that create unique value for the organizations that implement them, as well as the vendors offering the solutions," said Bob Ostrow, InfoWorld's president and publisher. "Virtualization Executive Forum is a critical component of our initiative to champion the benefits of enterprise virtualization face-to-face, online and in print."
