The rPath Appliance Agent, an application framework for administering Software Appliances in all their forms (Hardware, Software and Virtual), has been updated. This version contains mostly bug fixes, one critical (RAA-326). We advise all appliance builders to recook their groups with this update.
- Fixed cifs mounts to use the first section of the path as the share name and
the remainder of the path as a subdirectory in the mount. (RAA-324)
- Changed the backup plugin to use cifs instead of smbfs as the mount type when
doing remote backups. (RAA-324)
- Added configuration options to allow integrators to disable specific backup
types. By default, the URL type backup will be disabled. (RAA-325)
- Added an option to the Backup plugin to disable scheduled backups.
- Correctly handle Number of Backups = 0 in backup plugin. (RAA-332)
- Added hostname to backup plugin email notifications. (RAA-331)
- Fixed a bug causing updates to fail with a SIG_THRESHOLD message. (RAA-326)
If you have a system with 1.0.11 installed, and you are getting "Update failed: ''SIG_THRESHOLD''." errors when applying updates, you will need to do a manual update by clicking "Check Now" in the system updates plugin. When the check is finished, click "Apply Now".
