Trigence, the application virtualization leader, today announced that Janet Strackhouse has joined the company’s management team as Vice President of U.S. Sales. Strackhouse comes to Trigence with extensive experience in sales and business development and a strong track record for increasing revenue and market share for several prominent application software providers. In this role, Strackhouse will oversee the U.S. sales operations for the company and focus on business development and new customer penetration.
Before joining Trigence, Strackhouse was responsible for North American Sales at Softricity, where she was instrumental in the early formation and growth of the sales organization, resulting in the successful acquisition of Softricity by Microsoft
Prior to joining Softricity, Strackhouse was part of the initial team responsible for the strategic development and implementation of the enterprise sales organization at Citrix Systems, a leader in application delivery infrastructure.
“Janet’s proven leadership and strong track record in the enterprise software industry makes her a tremendous asset to our sales leadership team,” said David Roth, President and CEO, Trigence. “Her sales experience, coupled with her commitment to customer service, will play a major role in helping Trigence expand its market reach and realize its revenue goals.”
Before Citrix, Strackhouse was President and founder of Communications Research, Inc. Communications Research developed the first virtual teleconferencing system and was later acquired by PictureTel Corporation. Prior to forming Communications Research, Strackhouse was at Novell, where she was part of the initial team responsible for the strategic development and implementation of the enterprise sales organization.
“Trigence takes a differentiated approach to application virtualization unlike other vendors in the market,” commented Strackhouse. “I'm excited about the opportunity to further expand Trigence’s market penetration by delivering a software solution to enterprises that will change the way CIOs and senior IT managers approach application management.”
Strackhouse holds a B.S. in Marketing and Economics from the Pennsylvania State University in State College, PA.
