Zeus Technology, a leading provider of application traffic management software, received the NetEvents 2007 ”Innovative Company of the Year” award last week at a prestigious award banquet held in Evian, France.
As part of the NetEvents European Press & Analyst Summit 2007, this year’s awards for technological achievement were presented by NetEvents Editorial Director, Manek Dubash, at the Evian Royal Resort Hotel. The entire proceeds of $32,000 generated by the awards are to be shared between the American Cancer Society and the Prostate Project Foundation for Cancer Research.
The judges, chosen from an independent panel of industry analysts and senior press representatives from over 30 European publications, singled out Zeus as the ”Most Innovative Technology Company”, against strong competition from Avaya and Force 10 Networks. Zeus is known for its application traffic management software, ZXTM, making network and web-enabled applications run faster, more reliably, more securely and easier to manage. The judges commended the company on its “Good integration of technology… innovative software solutions that improve networks and web-based applications.”
Per Danielsen, Editor, Telekommunikation added that “Zeus Extensible Traffic Manager (ZXTM) will increase speed and responsiveness of most networked and web enabled applications without heavy investments in infrastructure or other hardware. The ZXTM Virtual Appliance (ZXTM VA) is really a unique product because it’s the only pure software traffic manager available as a virtual appliance.”
Paul Di Leo, Chief Executive Officer from Zeus said “ Following our 2007 CMP Technology XChange XCellence "Best Software Product" award in Budapest, Hungary on February 7th, we are delighted to be receiving this second award at such a high profile event with so many of Europe’s top industry press and analyst representatives present.”
“We’ve now raised $64,000 for these two very worthwhile charities and established these as awards as one of the IT industry’s most prestigious awards in Europe” said Mark Fox, NetEvents Founder. ”We would like to thank the European press & analyst community for helping make our awards such a success. The NetEvents Technology Leader awards give valuable recognition for the winners as they are judged by over 30 leading technology press & analysts – more than any other European technology award.”
