VMworld 2007 Call for Public Presentations

Are you ready for VMworld?  It's just around the corner.  This year’s event will be held at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, CA on September 11-13.

VMware is once again calling for public presentations to be submitted. They expect more than 10,000 attendees, and so, they need plenty of good content to keep people busy, learning, and enjoying.

Session proposals should provide an in-depth explanation of the technology and business challenges you had to resolve; the hardware, networking, and software setup of your solution; and the unique elements of the solution you developed. All speakers and session submissions will be reviewed for selection by a panel of VMware judges.

Here is a list of tracks currently planned for VMworld 2007:

  • Infrastructure Planning (IP): Optimizing Infrastructure with Assessment & Deployment Best Practices
  • Infrastructure Operations (IO): Optimizing Infrastructure with Management & Operations Best Practices
  • Workloads and Virtual Appliances (WV): Optimizing Infrastructure with Workload-Specific Best Practices and Virtual Appliances
  • Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery (BC):  Enhancing Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery through Virtualization
  • Software Lifecycle Automation (SL): Simplifying Software Development & Testing through Virtualization
  • Desktop Virtualization (DV): Delivering Manageable & Secure Desktops through Virtualization
  • Technology & Architecture (TA): Exploring Virtual Infrastructure Technology & Architecture in Depth
