Parallels 3.0 - What Says XenSource?

I had heard that Simon Crosby of XenSource was going to try out the latest Parallels Desktop 3.0 for Mac, and so I was interested to see what his take on the upgrade would be.

Over on his Blog, Simon said he was luckily stalled on his upgrade by someone from XenSource IT, who basically told him to wait for a patch release before getting into the latest version of Parallels Desktop 3.0 for Mac.

In a nutshell, statements like "not fully cooked yet", "apps crashing" and "corrupt virtual hard disks or boot images" just don't give me the warm and fuzzies.  To be fair, this is one person's bad experience.  Simon asks the same thing I'm now thinking... Have you had an easier time of it?  What say you?  Is anyone else dealing with a similar issue, or is it smooth sailing?

Check out Simon's Blog post for all the details, and click reply to let him and the rest of us know what your experience with the upgrade has been like.
