IDG World Expo, the leading producer of world-class tradeshows and events, today provided a preview of next weeks Next Generation Data Center (NGDC), the only strategic IT event focused on the complete end-to-end solution and new technologies for the data center. IT professionals from across the country will gather in San Francisco to learn about new technologies and their impact on the data center, including mission-critical applications and the technology supporting those applications including storage, servers, networking and communications.

Next Generation Data Center Conference & Expo runs August 6-9, 2007 at Moscone Center. The NGDC exhibit hall floor opens on Tuesday, August 7 at 10:00 a.m. Exhibit hall passes are free on or before August 5, 2007 passes cost $50.00 thereafter. Register for free exhibit hall passes at http://www.ngdcexpo.com.

The new event is targeted to data center professionals ranging from IT architects to system administrators, seeking the right products and services to include in their end-to-end solutions as they adapt to ever increasing needs for flexibility, scalability and performance. The event will feature presentations by leading technology experts and innovative IT executives who will address what is happening in the data center today and whats likely to happen next. Multiple tracks will provide attendees with a full spectrum of best practices and emerging trends across key topic areas including SOA, virtualization, grid, security, application optimization, information life cycle management, automation, compliance, VOIP and network management.

Exhibiting companies will use the show floor as a launching pad for new product announcements, or as a place to spotlight recently announced or enhanced products. The following is just a sneak preview of products that will be showcased on the exhibit floor:

EATON CORPORATION (booth 309) Eatons Powerware® BladeUPSTM is a rack-based, uninterruptible power system (UPS) designed and optimized for todays high-powered blade servers and high-density computing environments. It is a three-phase system that delivers industry-leading energy efficiency, scalability and flexibility.

EMERSON NETWORK POWER (booth 302) Emerson Network Power recently announced a partnership with Dell to help customers expand data center capacities while driving down energy costs. The Dell-Liebert Energy Smart Solutions combine Dells PowerEdge Energy Smart servers with Liebert XD and Liebert DS cooling systems to maximize data center performance, density and efficiency.

SOLERA NETWORKS (booth 511) Solera Networks will showcase the Solera Networks Virtual Appliance for Packet Capture, the industrys first hardware-independent deep packet capture and stream-to-storage virtual appliance. This move makes deep packet capture and network traffic analysis available to every organization, from large enterprises to small businesses.
