Invirtus Enters the Enterprise Market with VM Optimizer 4.0

Invirtus VM Optimizer (VMO) is an advanced VM optimization technology that reduces a virtual machine's virtual hard drive to the smallest size possible and also optimizes Windows guest operating systems for speed and performance.

With their 4.0 release, Invirtus goes from the desktop to the server, taking itself into the enterprise with new features and functionality.

Enterprise VM Optimizer 4.0 is the company's next generation of VM Optimizer which takes huge leaps forward in terms of performance, user interface and feature set. Included are many new enterprise level functions for optimizing repositories of multiple VMs locally or around the network, via jobs, in batch, from a host, and at improved speeds.

  • VMs no longer have to be powered on to be optimized - all the work is done from a physical host system
  • Optimizations execute a minimum of 10x faster
  • Completely redesigned and updated user interface
  • Ability to schedule one or multiple VMs for optimization automatically as a job
  • Statistical reporting on each optimization
  • Ability to optimize locally or across the network
