Vizioncore Launches Global Alliance Partner Program
Vizioncore Inc., the market leader in management tools for virtual infrastructure environments, today announced the Vizioncore Alliance Partner Program (VAPP), aimed at helping complementary technology vendors to develop tighter integration with Vizioncores backup, replication, monitoring and migration products. Founding members of the program include Data Domain, DataCore and Equallogic.

With virtualization becoming increasingly pervasive, Vizioncore aims to provide alliance partners with the tools and support to increase interoperability between technologies and deliver enhanced solutions to customers. VAPP members will benefit from reciprocal testing agreements and have access to a wide range of resources, including:

  • Increased technical collaboration to build expertise and strengthen integration
  • Free technical support to deliver higher levels of customer satisfaction
  • Joint marketing programs and materials to allow partners to drive brand awareness and grow the market for virtualization

The future growth and success of the virtualization market will depend on the overall eco-system delivering innovative solutions to real-world issues, and collaboration between technology vendors will be a key part of this, said Chris Akerberg, VP Global Sales & Marketing of Vizioncore. Vizioncore is committed to leading the way within the growing virtualization eco-system, and this program will help to drive integration between complementary technologies and foster stronger ties between vendors within this space. Our tools, along with other technologies such as networked storage, data deduplication, enterprise management software and WAN acceleration, have a vital role to play in virtual environments, so by partnering with vendors in these and other key areas we will enable our customers to build even more flexible and robust infrastructures.

Data Domains deduplication storage systems offer a particularly strong value proposition in virtualized environments, where our users typically achieve data compression rates in excess of 40x, said Beth White, Vice President of Marketing for Data Domain. We see tremendous synergies between Vizioncores tools for protecting and monitoring virtual machines and our own market-leading data deduplication technology, so aligning ourselves with Vizioncore makes perfect sense. Our partnership with Vizioncore will allow us to address the huge opportunity which exists around virtualization by delivering joint solutions to our customers.

Well over half of our new deployments are now made within virtual infrastructures, and as our customers look to standardize on virtualization as a platform for disaster recovery we continuously strive to offer them the best possible solutions to their problems, said Scott Margol, Vice President, Corporate Development, DataCore Software Corporation. As a member of VAPP, we can make it much easier for both companies' customers to integrate Vizioncore and DataCore cutting-edge solutions that allow them to backup and restore resources when and where they are needed.

Vizioncore products, which include vRanger, vMigrator, vCharter and vReplicator enhance virtualization technology by enabling customers to replicate, migrate, back-up, monitor and improve the performance of virtual machines within their overall IT infrastructure. The company recently added Invirtus technology to its portfolio, to provide customers with access to the fastest and simplest backup, recovery, replication, optimization and migration products supporting heterogeneous virtual environments and physical servers. While Vizioncore will expand its overall offering with the embedded and rebranded Invirtus products, Vizioncore will continue to develop further enhancements and new products with their growing internal development group.
