Veeam Software Unveils New Products at VMworld 2007
Veeam Software today announced two new products and two business partnerships to further strengthen its position as an innovative provider of software for managing virtual servers. Veeam Monitor, now in beta, offers a bird's-eye view of key performance metrics and resource consumption across the virtual infrastructure, as well as drill-down capabilities to quickly discover system bottlenecks. Veeam Backup, scheduled for availability in the fourth quarter, is the first product to combine backup and replication for fast recovery of VMware environments. Veeam Backup integrates with Veeam's popular FastSCP free secure file copying utility -- offering both functions from a single interface. Both new products will be demonstrated at VMworld, where Veeam is a Silver Sponsor.

At the same time, the company announced that it has joined VMware's Technology Alliance Partner (TAP) program. This relationship will give Veeam access to VMware content and communities through VMware Partner Central, training, support and software licenses, as well as joint marketing opportunities.

Veeam has also formed a partnership with MicroTech LLC, an award-winning service disabled veteran-owned and small disadvantaged 8(a) small business. With this agreement, U.S. federal, state and local government agencies can purchase Veeam products through a variety of contract vehicles held by MicroTech, including the standard GSA.

Additional Veeam products will be demonstrated in booth 214 at VMworld, including Veeam Reporter, one of three Veeam products named semi-finalists in this year's "Best of VMworld Awards." Veeam's full executive team, including company co-founders Ratmir Timashev and Andrei Baronov, will be on hand to meet with customers, prospective customers and partners.

"This is our first year as a sponsor of VMworld, and we're looking forward to the opportunity to talk with those on the forefront of VMware adoption," Timashev said. "We create and enhance our products based directly on feedback from our customers -- this event is a tremendous opportunity to talk with them about what products and functionality they most want to see."
