Veeam Proud to Take Home an Award and Industry Recognition

Veeam Software, perhaps best known for its FastSCP product, made its first appearance as a sponsor and exhibitor at VMworld this year.

The software company was proud to take home a "Best of VMworld" Gold award in the Utilities category for its Veeam Reporter product.  But company recognition doesn't stop there.  The small newcomer also made a name for itself when it was recognized by Network World magazine and placed in its "10 IT Management Software Companies to Watch" list.  Meanwhile, in its Sept. 13 edition, Network World editors named Veeam Software as one of ten young, innovative management software companies "emerging to challenge the old guard and provide help for systems and network managers dealing with such issues as virtualization, enhanced user mobility and sophisticated security threats."

"We are honored to receive this recognition, as well as by the recent attention we have received from industry analysts," said Ratmir Timashev, Veeam president and CEO. "We are a fast-growing company, building innovative products based on customer feedback and suggestions. VMworld was a great event for us, because in addition to this award, we enjoyed the opportunity to talk with so many of our customers face-to-face."

This company is definitely one to watch, making virtualization applications and utilities that people want, need and ask for.  Veeam had a really good showing at VMworld this year, and I suspect that they will be back in full force at VMworld 2008 in Las Vegas.  The company also offers a few free items for download, so I suggest you check them out at
