Neterion, Inc., the industry leader in 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10 GbE) adapters for server and storage environments, announced that Neterion's Xframe® II 10 Gigabit Ethernet adapter has been qualified and selected by Fujitsu Limited for its high-end PRIMEQUEST™ line of Itanium-based industry-standard servers. Xframe II is a member of the family of 10 GbE Xframe V-NIC™ adapters designed to provide virtualization functions at the I/O level.

The Xframe II adapter includes support for Microsoft Windows Server™, VMware, Red Hat and Novell SUSE Linux, among other environments.

With the announcement of this agreement, Neterion now has OEM or distribution relationships with major server and storage vendors on a worldwide basis including Fujitsu, Hitachi, IBM, HP, EMC, Sun Microsystems, Cray and Silicon Graphics.
Hitachi High-Technologies, the exclusive distributor in Japan for the Neterion family of Xframe V-NIC 10 Gigabit Ethernet adapters and integrated circuits, played a key role in this new OEM selection.
