LinuxWorld Conference & Expo Call For Papers Now Open

IDG World Expo today opened its Call For Papers for LinuxWorld(R) Conference & Expo, the premier event exclusively focused on Linux and open source solutions. The deadline for submissions is February 22, 2008.

Conferences: August 4-7, 2008

Expo: August 5-7, 2008

Linux and open source technology subject matter experts

DETAILS:

LinuxWorld will focus on emerging trends and the latest market developments. The conference programs are designed around the following tracks:
 

-- Applications

-- Desktop Linux

-- Quick and Dirty Development

-- Legal and Licensing

-- System Troubleshooting

-- Security

-- Virtualization, HPC and Grid

In addition, 2008 will mark the launch of the new Mobile Linux Conference at LinuxWorld featuring tracks on:

 

-- Mobile Linux Platforms

-- Building Applications on Mobile Linux

 

Sessions: Sessions are one hour in length, and include panels, case studies from customers, and technical sessions.

 

Tutorials: In addition to these tracks we are also looking for proposals for Tutorials, which are three-hour workshops on each topic (attendee workbooks are required).
