Transitive Appoints Criss Harms as CFO
Transitive® Corporation, the leading provider of cross-platform virtualization solutions, today announced that it has appointed Criss Harms to serve as its chief financial officer. Harms, a broadly experienced executive with more than 20 years spent in key finance and administration roles for several notable high-technology firms, will be responsible for financial and administrative management at Transitive, which sells the award-winning QuickTransit® range of enterprise cross-platform virtualization solutions.

"Criss Harms joins the Transitive team at a critical time, just as our QuickTransit enterprise product line sales are ramping up," said Bob Wiederhold, president and CEO of Transitive. "With the recent appointment of three new global distributors, Transitive's sales channels will grow several orders of magnitude during 2008, requiring considerable scaling and refinement of our financial, administrative and legal processes. We look forward to having Criss Harms join with the Transitive team in rising to this challenge."

"Joining the Transitive team as CFO at this point in time is a unique and exciting opportunity," said Criss Harms. "With innovative technology that has been shipped in more than 10 million computers worldwide, Transitive has elevated cross-platform virtualization to become a mainstream business solution. My challenge, along with Transitive's management and employees, is to build a world-class organization to effectively partner with and support our rapidly scaling enterprise customer base."

Prior to joining Transitive, Harms was CFO at Counterpane, which was acquired by British Telecom in 2006. Prior to that, he served as the director of finance and controller for several successful venture-funded technology companies, including Sentient Networks (acquired by Cisco Systems), Apptitude (acquired by Hi/fn) and Silvan Networks.
