Barney brings more than ten years of sales and management experience to 3Leaf Systems, with a proven track record of success selling enterprise-class infrastructure solutions to Fortune 500 and global online e-businesses. Reporting directly to CEO and president, B.V. Jagadeesh, Barney will be responsible for driving the global availability of 3Leaf
’s virtualization solutions.

Barney’s appointment comes at a time when demand for server virtualization solutions is expanding rapidly. A recent survey conducted by Forrester Research found that more than a third of enterprise IT departments have implemented x86 server virtualization, and nearly two-thirds expect to do so by 2009. 3Leaf Systems is on the leading edge of this trend, helping businesses migrate from traditional data center operations to fully virtualized environments that enable on-demand resource availability, flexibility, maximized efficiency, and significant cost savings. 3Leaf Systems’ I/O, compute, and memory virtualization technologies enable a dynamic data center that is able to rapidly respond to the changing requirements of the enterprise while at the same time dramatically reducing costs.

Prior to joining 3Leaf Systems, Barney was a vice president of sales at Citrix Systems, a leader in application delivery infrastructure. There, he was responsible for sales and field marketing for all major Citrix software and hardware products in the Western Region, the number one sales region for the products and solutions under Barney’s management from 2005-2007. In addition to managing sales organizations, Barney proved himself to be an outstanding salesman, having been number one in sales attainment from 2003 to 2004 at NetScaler, a leader in high-performance application delivery systems acquired by Citrix. Barney has also held positions at JPMorgan Partners and served with the United States Marine Corps Reserves. Barney received an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and has an undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
