Microsoft has updated their VHD image library to include a new Internet Explorer set of VHDs and a VHD for Microsoft Forefront Codename "Stirling".
Want to test Web sites with IE? Try these VPC VHD images:
IE6-XPSP2_VPC.exe contains a Windows XP SP2 with IE6 VHD file
IE7-XPSP2_VPC.exe contains a Windows XP SP2 with IE7 VHD file
IE8B1-XPSP2_VPC.exe contains a Windows XP SP2 with IE8 Beta 1 VHD file
IE7-VIS1.exe+IE7-VIS2.rar+IE7-VIS3.rar contain a Vista Image with IE7 VHD file.
Download each Internet Explorer VHD Image.
And then the next download enables you to evaluate Microsoft Forefront Codename "Stirling". Microsoft Forefront is designed as an integrated security system that delivers comprehensive, coordinated protection, making it easier to manage and control security across an organization’s IT infrastructure.
Note that you only need to download the VHDs that are required for the evaluation that you want to conduct:
To evaluate the "Stirling" System and to evaluate the next generation of Forefront Client Security, you will need the following VHDs: VHD 1, VHD 2, VHD 3 and VHD 4.
To evaluate the next generation of Forefront Security for Exchange Server, you will need the following VHD: VHD 1.
To evaluate the next generation of Forefront Security for SharePoint, you will need the following VHDs: VHD 1 and VHD 5.
To evaluate the Forefront Threat Management Gateway, you will need the following VHDs: VHD 1 and VHD 2.
