NetEx Earns FalconStor Certification for HyperIP Data Transport Optimization Appliance
NetEx®, the leader in high speed data transport, today announced that its HyperIP® bandwidth optimization appliance has been certified by FalconStor® Software, Inc. (NASDAQ: FALC), providing FalconStor users with a tested and proven application acceleration solution.

The certification follows joint performance testing by the NetEx and FalconStor to prove interoperability and validate the value proposition of HyperIP in accelerating data rate performance across TCP/IP transports for FalconStor data protection applications, including DiskSafe, FileSafe, VTL and others.

IPstor and other FalconStor applications are an ideal test bed for HyperIP as it demonstrates the real world challenges and bottlenecks of sending large volumes of data over IP transports, said Robert MacIntyre, Vice President of Business Development and Marketing at NetEx. These test results vividly demonstrate the ability of HyperIP to add significant value to FalconStor applications.
