StackSafe Inc. Selects Excelerate Systems, LLC as Latin American Distributor
StackSafe, Inc., a provider of pre-production staging and testing solutions for IT Operations teams, announced today that Excelerate Systems, LLC will distribute StackSafe Test Center to Latin America. Excelerate Systems will be the sole distributor of StackSafe products to Mexico, Brazil, Portugal, Venezuela, Columbia, Peru and Argentina.

“We are thrilled to work with Excelerate Systems to further extend Test Center’s reach into the Latin American market,” said Loren Burnett, President and CEO of StackSafe. “Test Center can significantly improve IT Operations understanding of the impact that changes will have on their IT environment. Now organizations in Latin America will be able to experience the benefits of improved software infrastructure testing.”

StackSafe Test Center combines easy import of customer production environments into a testing “sandbox” along with a suite of tests to facilitate pre-deployment testing of application upgrades, patches or other changes. Using virtualization technology, the imported system copies are networked into a working software infrastructure stack that represents the actual production configuration. With Test Center, users easily and efficiently conduct testing without disrupting live environments in order to improve availability and system stability. The groundbreaking product was awarded the 2008 ITIL Innovation of the Year award at the International IT Service Management Conference and Exhibition.

“Being the sole distributor of Test Center in Latin America will allow us to help the many companies that wish to better understand the impact of IT changes,” said David Bennett, CEO of Excelerate Systems. “The Latin American region is experiencing solid economic growth and investment in IT infrastructure is growing rapidly. Together with StackSafe, I believe that we can greatly impact the Latin American IT industry by saving companies time and money thanks to increased uptime and reduced production problems.”
