Teradici to Demonstrate PC-over-IP Technology at VMworld 2008 in Las Vegas
Teradici® Corporation, the industry leader in delivering a true PC experience over standard IP networks, will demonstrate its revolutionary PC-over-IP® (PCoIP®) technology in a virtualized environment at the annual VMworld in Las Vegas Sept. 15-18, 2008.

The VMworld demonstration, in booth 1442 at The Venetian Hotel, will be Teradicis first public showing of a PCoIP technology enabled multi-user virtual platform powered by a single host PC. PCoIP solutions support all applications, all USB devices, all operating systems including Microsoft Vista and XP.

Teradici has been successful in delivering a rich, uncompromised experience to high performance 3D workstation users, said Stuart Robinson, director of business development for Teradici. The rollout of our PCoIP technology to support VDI environments represents the next major step in our commitment to enable IT organizations to deliver a true PC experience to all users within the enterprise network.

Teradici has a growing base of partnerships with leading workstation and PC manufacturers who have extended their product lines to include PCoIP technology on their platforms. The company will feature the latest PCoIP technology demonstrations along with many partners also exhibiting at the event.

VMware hosts VMworld 2008, the leading virtualization event in Las Vegas, NV, September 15-18 at The Venetian Hotel. Now in its fifth year, VMworld is a must-attend event for all IT professionals looking for actionable ideas, innovative products and best practices for virtualizing your enterprise -- from the desktop to the datacenter.

How Teradicis PC- over-IP Technology Works

Teradicis platform enables PCs and workstations to be centrally managed in a datacenter while providing high resolution, full frame rate 3D graphics and HD media, with full USB peripheral interoperability. PCoIP technology resolves the challenges of managing, maintaining and securing enterprise desktops, using a chipset that compresses and encodes the entire PC experience at the datacenter and transmits it over a standard IP network to stateless desktop devices. PCoIP solutions offer a true computing experience for the end-user while supporting the efficiency and security of centralized computing.
