Desktone, Inc., provider of the first solution that enables virtual
desktops as an outsourced subscription service, today announced a new,
free webinar series,
“Desktone DaaS: The
Evolution of Corporate Computing.
” In four
separate webinars, Desktone and experts who are analyzing, building and
consuming virtual desktops as a service (DaaS), will explore how cloud
and hosted computing is transforming the corporate PC from a static
device into a virtualized asset that is delivered as a subscription
service.
Panelists include leaders and innovators from Hurwitz & Associates, IDC,
Interarbor Solutions, The 451 Group, IBM and Pike County Schools.
“With the Internet continually redefining how
we compute, traditional corporate PCs seem out of place. They can’t
keep up with today’s dynamic businesses. At
the same time, emerging cloud and hosted computing trends are reshaping
the way organizations consume and manage IT,”
said Candyce Plante, senior director of marketing, Desktone. “Our
webinar series brings together leaders in desktop virtualization, who
will share how outsourcing non-strategic IT assets and purchasing them
as a service can drastically lower desktop TCO, simplify manageability
and make organizations much more responsive and agile.”
The Desktone webinar series includes:
