ScaleMP, a leading provider of virtualization solutions for high-end computing, has been recognized in the annual HPCwire Readers’ and Editors’ Choice Awards, presented at the 2008 International Conference for High Performance Computing, Networking, Storage and Analysis (SC08), in Austin, Texas. Diane Lieberman, publisher of HPCwire, revealed the list of winners at the HPCwire booth at the event being held at the Austin Convention Center. ScaleMP was recognized with the Readers' Choice Top 5 New Products or Technologies to Watch.
The coveted HPCwire Readers’ and Editors’ Choice Awards are determined through online polling of the global HPCwire audience, along with a rigorous selection process involving HPCwire editors and industry luminaries. The awards are an annual feature of the publication and constitute prestigious recognition from the HPC community. These awards are revealed each year to kick off the SC08 conference, which showcases high performance computing, networking, storage, and data analysis.
“Every year, it is our pleasure to survey our readers in order to determine which HPC-related companies, product and technologies are making the biggest impacts in mind-share within the HPC community,” said Diane Lieberman, publisher of HPCwire. “The HPCwire Readers’ and Editors’ Choice Awards send a strong message to the recipients that those in the global HPC community recognize their work, and consider their efforts meritorious. Our congratulations go out to ScaleMP and the rest of the winners.”
“We are excited to see an objective, well-known industry publication such as HPCwire, as well as its readers, recognize our achievements,” said Shai Fultheim, founder and CEO of ScaleMP. “We have seen significant partner and customer traction these past months, as the ScaleMP vSMP Foundation™, which aggregates multiple x86 systems into a single virtual shared memory system, has continued to prove its incontestable benefits in simplifying overall management and improving processing and memory capabilities for HPC environments.”
