iQstor Networks Announces All-Inclusive Turnkey SAN Solutions
iQstor Networks, Inc., a leading developer of intelligent and integrated Storage Area Network (SAN) solutions, today introduced a comprehensive software bundle of storage management and data protection services that will be included with each of the company’s storage arrays to provide complete, turnkey SAN solutions.

iQstor’s new all-inclusive SAN solutions combine the company’s iQ2850 iSCSI and iQ2880 FC arrays with a software bundle delivering advanced management and security features such as storage virtualization and SAN management along with built-in data protection features including instant, point-in-time consistent snapshots, local and remote replication, and volume copy services. The new all-in-one iQstor solutions leverage industry-leading ease of use with a robust, unlimited license software feature set that eliminates the costs and complexity of adding third-party applications in order to provide comprehensive storage services. Each system provides redundant, fault tolerant storage capacity and offers extremely cost-effective vertical capacity expansion, scaling out seamlessly behind a single management interface through connectivity with iQstor’s J2880 SBOD expansion enclosures to further reduce costs as capacity grows.

“iQstor’s new all-inclusive storage solutions enable customers to protect and manage more data with less cost and complexity,” said Jason Lo, president and CEO of iQstor Networks. “With our all-in-one iQ2850 and iQ2880 storage solutions, companies now have complete high value, low cost platforms that will help them minimize overall management complexity and administrative burdens while efficiently protecting their business-critical data.”

“By addressing customers’ key concerns with current storage offerings, including availability of enterprise-class data protection software as well as cost of service and support issues, iQstor is making it easier for organizations to solve their data storage challenges without breaking the bank,” said Greg Knieriemen, vice president of marketing and business development for Chi Corporation, a leading national value added reseller headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio.

The new bundled iQstor solutions include a rich feature set of storage management and data protection services designed to simplify and reduce storage management overhead and improve data security and availability for customers. Each solution provides volume management features with volume-based virtualization, support for automated volume and policy-driven capacity expansion, and enhanced data availability with Multi-Path support, providing dual data paths for active/active access to storage. Advanced data protection is included by enabling VSS-consistent snapshots and remote replication to facilitate rapid disaster recovery and business continuance.

Service and Support

iQstor provides three years standard warranty on complete storage systems and storage expansion enclosure hardware with 9x5 (8AM - 5PM, M-F) telephone technical support and spare part advanced replacement. Each storage system also includes a one-year limited warranty on the Data Protection software features. In addition to the standard warranty, iQstor also offers extended support plans and warranties along with training and on-site service.
