Configuresoft Enterprise Configuration Manager to Support VMware vSphere
Configuresoft, a leading provider of enterprise server configuration management solutions, today announced that its Enterprise Configuration Manager (ECM) will support VMware vSphereTM. Launched today, VMware vSphere is the industry’s first cloud operating system, transforming datacenters into dramatically simplified cloud infrastructures to enable the next generation of flexible, reliable IT services. VMware vSphere gives customers uncompromising control, with greater efficiency, while preserving customer choice.

By supporting VMware vSphere, Configuresoft can further extend the capabilities of their customers to manage and secure their environments as they move to the next-generation of dynamic datacenters.

“We are pleased that Configuresoft is taking the next step to helping provide customers with a more flexible, reliable and scalable computing environment,” said Bernie Mills, senior director, alliance programs, VMware. “By supporting VMware vSphere, our partners can further enable increased efficiency, control and choice for customers.”

“VMware vSphere is changing the enterprise computing environment by enabling companies to realize a whole new level of flexibility and customer responsiveness that were previously unimaginable. Enterprises that take full advantage of vSphere will not only be able to effectively address their compliance and security needs, but also dramatically reduce operating costs in the process,” said Jason Cowie, vice president of product management at Configuresoft. “Configuresoft is proud to announce our configuration audit and change management support for VMware vSphere, and we are pleased to be a partner in VMware’s solution offerings.”
