Pano Logic, the leader in centralized virtual desktops, today announced the appointment of Parmeet S. Chaddha as executive vice president of engineering. In this position, Chaddha will be responsible for product strategy and leadership of the company’s product development roadmap. He joins Pano Logic from MobileVerbs, Inc., where he held the position of CEO and co-founder and led the development of the company’s next generation mobile marketing platform.
“Parmeet’s extensive operational and general management experience in the software industry will be tremendously valuable as we continue to evolve our product,” said John Kish, president and CEO of Pano Logic. “As the desktop virtualization market continues to expand, Parmeet will direct Pano Logic’s product strategy, determining our customers’ biggest needs and how the Pano System can meet them.”
Prior to MobileVerbs, Chaddha was CTO of the Applications-on-Demand business unit at IBM. He came to this position through IBM’s acquisition of Corio, an enterprise application management provider, where he held a number of executive positions during his tenure, including CTO, senior vice president and president of Corio India, and emerged as a leading technology evangelist. Before Corio, Chaddha was a consulting advisor to a number of technology companies with focus on e-CRM, wireless and business intelligence. Chaddha’s previous experience includes founding and serving as president of Zanza Software, a pioneering developer of web-based, Java business intelligence solutions and holding the position of vice president of engineering and IT ops at IntelliMatch. Chaddha started his career at Oracle where he served as director of Tools Development. Chaddha holds a number of patents and has been widely published in industry and technical trade publications. He holds an M.S. and B.S. from MIT.
