Certeon Inc., a Microsoft Certified Partner, announced today a new Application Acceleration Blueprint™ for both Microsoft Application Virtualization (App-V) 4.5 and System Center Configuration Manager 2007 R2 (SCCM) on its aCelera Virtual Appliance for Application Acceleration. aCelera significantly reduces the time to deployment and simplifies the management of locally installed and virtualized desktop applications for distributed users across an enterprise. aCelera delivers these capabilities as a virtualized appliance running on Microsoft Hyper-V and managed through Microsoft System Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM). Microsoft Application Management Infrastructure

Microsoft App-V is an application virtualization technology within the Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack which has sold over 14.1 million licenses. Microsoft App-V transforms applications into centrally managed services that are automatically delivered over the network to users, without installing the application on client systems. SCCM works with the MDOP suite of products to comprehensively assess, deploy, and update applications for servers and clients. Certeon aCelera optimizes Microsoft App-V and SCCM by allowing branch servers to be consolidated into an easily configured virtual appliance and dramatically reducing the amount of traffic needed to be transmitted over the network.
