IP Expo opens today at Earls Court 2, London 7th – 8th October 2009

IP Expo opens today with top speakers, panel debates, news announcements and first time demonstrations of new technologies in the UK from industry leading companies.  Speakers in the Keynote programme include Lord Carter at 9.50am today is his first public appearance since leaving government and publishing the Digital Britain report, Stephen Herrod, CTO and Senior VP of R&D at Vmware at 1pm today and Simone Brunozzi, Web Services Evangelist at Amazon at 1.30pm tomorrow.   • Expand Networks is launching two strategic programmes designed to take organisation’s strategic IT initiatives and optimisation to the next level
  • Global Crossing is announcing the addition of the Global Crossing EtherSphereTM family of services to the company’s Ethernet WAN transport offers.  The new globally available services are EtherSphere Multipoint-to-Multipoint, EtherSphere Point-to-Multipoint and EtherSphere Point-to-Point solutions
  • IGEL Technology will launch new technology to extend the lifecycle of old PCs
  • Ipitomi is announcing its latest customer - Liverpool Science Park
  • Proximity Communications is launching new framework ‘Communications, Unified’
  • RES Software is unveiling a new service release for Windows 7 migration

  • BlueCat Networks will demonstrate virtual appliances for its Proteus™ IPAM and Adonis™ family of DNS/DHCP solutions
  • EssentialNET, are showcasing a brand new product to the UK that gives you better-than-MPLS performance over cheap ADSL lines
  • HP will be showcasing its new converged infrastructure (Matrix)
  • IGEL Technology will demonstrate solutions for extending lifecycles of old PC's
  • Intergence Systems is revealing the first views of its new 3D graphics modelling software that provides, for the first time, a clear, real- time, three dimensional view of the performance of the entire IT estate.
  • iTrinegy will be demonstrating how to conduct realistic proof of concept testing of Data Centre Consolidation and Virtualisation implementations
  • OpSource will demonstrate for first time worldwide its Cloud operations solution
  • Veeam Software will demonstrate version 4.0 of Veeam Backup & Replication, with this, Veeam will be the first to support new VMware vSphere 4 vStorage technology
