Red Hat to Hold Free Virtual Experience on December 9th

On December 9, 2009, Red Hat will be holding a one-day, complimentary virtual event focused on open source technologies and Red Hat solutions for virtualization and cloud computing, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization. Hosted completely online and free of charge, this event lets you chat live with Red Hat executives and other attendees, while listening to a variety of comprehensive sessions focused on four tracks: business, technical, government, and vertical solutions.

The business track will provide information about how Red Hat's virtualization solutions provide the opportunity for enterprises to  lower costs without sacrificing performance, security, or functionality. Session topics include an introduction to cloud computing, using Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization to plan for your datacenter, and safeguarding your data.

If you need help scaling your technologies to meet new demands or building mission-critical applications, the technical track will address both issues and more. The technical track sessions will discuss the scalability features of the Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization portfolio, building your own cloud infrastructure using Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization, security for your virtualized environments, and the merits and architecture of Kernel-based Virtual Machine (KVM) virtualization technology.

Or, you can choose the government track to learn how to build multi-level security solutions using open source technology, as well as complying with security initiatives using a virtualized Red Hat Enterprise Linux infrastructure.

And finally, the vertical track will cover building and leveraging cloud infrastructures with Red Hat Enterprise MRG - Messaging, Realtime, and Grid. It will also provide an overview of the capabilities and features of Red Hat Enterprise MRG and how to use workload scheduling virtualization as an enterprise management platform.

You can learn more about each session topic by viewing the Red Hat Virtual Experience agenda. To see what others are saying about the Red Hat Virtual Experience, follow Red Hat on Twitter or join the Red Hat Facebook fan page.
