Parallels, the leading enabler of cloud services for small businesses, introduced Parallels Plesk Panel Suite and Parallels Automation BackupAgent on the first day of Parallels Summit 2010. Numerous other companies participating in the Summit announced partnerships and new products.
More than 1100 people are attending Parallels Summit 2010 in Miami, to focus on small businesses moving their IT services to the Cloud and how hosters and cloud services providers can innovate, optimize and grow in order to profit from the cloud.

Parallels introduces Parallels Plesk Panel Suite
Parallels has made a preview of Parallels Plesk Panel Suite available to service provider partners. Parallels Plesk Panel Suite gives hosters and cloud services providers a quick and easy way to set up and administer servers, provides end users intuitive, web-based management of their hosting services, and offers hosting providers the ability to offer profitable Web site creation services.
Parallels Plesk Panel Suite includes Parallels Plesk Panel version 9.5, Parallels Plesk Sitebuilder, and Parallels Plesk Billing for the same price as Parallels Plesk Panel 9.5 Unlimited if purchased separately. Each of these server automation applications can be used alone or integrated into a complete solution for shared hosting, virtual private server or dedicated server offerings. Partners using the Suite can provide 100 Web sites and billing support for 1000 customers without additional charge.
Parallels Plesk Panel Suite version 9.5 offers PCI compliance for enhanced security. In addition, it allows for integration with Google tools including AdSense, Webmaster Tools and Custom Search and supports a broad range of virtualization platforms.
Parallels Plesk Panel Suite will be available for use by partners in March and will be generally available in April. Parallels offers free support for migration from earlier versions of Parallels Plesk Panel or other control panel solutions to Parallels Plesk Panel Suite.
Parallels launches Parallels Automation BackupAgent
Parallels and BackupAgent have partnered to create Parallels Automation BackupAgent, a solution that allows hosters, value added resellers and telecommunications service providers to sell cloud-based backup as a service.
Integrated with Parallels Operations Automation and Parallels Business Automation control panels, Parallels Automation BackupAgent’s server software, is scalable and easy to deploy in a hosting company’s datacenter. The software is multi-tenant and enables hosters to offer private-label applications to their clients.
