Zenoss Inc., corporate sponsor of the award winning open source IT monitoring and management solution Zenoss Core, will be demonstrating how to monitor IT infrastructure with the company’s free and open source tools at the 11th Annual Linux and Grassroots Open Source Festival, Linuxfest Northwest (LFNW), on April 24th and 25th in Bellingham, Wash.
As a Gold Sponsor of the event, Zenoss will showcase the most recent free software packages for cloud monitoring and virtualization management (called ZenPacks) from the open source project.
In addition, Zenoss Community manager Matt Ray will be giving a talk entitled, “
Monitoring Bare Metal to the Clouds with Zenoss.” This hour long tutorial will instruct users about the methods for monitoring all types of physical and virtual infrastructure using free and open source software.
“This is our fourth year attending and exhibiting at Linuxfest Northwest, and we are consistently amazed at the dedication and excitement of the volunteers who organize this event, all of which is reflected in their program,” said Mark Hinkle, vice president of Community at Zenoss. “These user led events are critical for providing awareness of the benefits open source software, and it’s a pleasure to once again sponsor and attend LFNW.”
