Gluster to Present Webinar on Open Source Storage Clouds
Gluster, a leading provider of scalable, open source storage solutions, today announced a webinar which will feature testimonials from two companies who have used open source clustered storage to build cloud environments on commodity hardware. Join industry analyst Tony Asaro, Barry Jaspan, senior architect at Acquia, and Brent Richter, director of enterprise research IS at Partners HealthCare Systems, for the live webcast, “Case Studies: Deploying Open Source Storage Clouds,” on Wednesday, May 26 from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. EDT. You can learn more and register here

During the webinar Mr. Asaro will share his analysis and insights on key storage trends, Mr. Jaspan will discuss how his team built Acquia Hosting for Drupal sites on an Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure, and Mr. Richter will share how his team created a centralized storage repository for its network of medical research hospitals.

“With the increasing interest in cloud solutions, and more specifically in cloud storage, this is an ideal time to provide a webinar that sorts through the hype of cloud storage and allows attendees to learn about real world examples being used today,” said Anand Babu (AB) Periasamy, co-founder and CTO of Gluster. “Attendees of this webinar will benefit from hearing about the value of scalable storage as well as what they should look for when building their own open source cloud environment.”
