VMware vExpert for 2010 - A Special Thank You

While the weekend seemed incredibly short (don't they all these days), there was one bright shining light that really made my weekend.  I received a confirmation email from VMware's John Troyer notifying me that I had been awarded one of the 2010 VMware vExpert awards.  Wow!  All I could think was, "How awesome is this!?!?!"  Thank you.

I am truly thankful, humbled and honored to once again receive one of these fantastic awards and to be placed in such good company.  VMware says this award is "given to individuals who have significantly contributed to the community of VMware users over the past year.  vExperts are book authors, bloggers, VMUG leaders, tool builders, and other IT professionals who share their knowledge and passion with others.  These vExperts have gone above and beyond their day jobs to share their technical expertise and communicate the value of VMware and virtualization to their colleagues and community."

It sure is easy to be passionate about something you feel so strongly about.  And VMware makes it even easier to remain passionate about a technology that has been around for more than 10 years as they continue to innovate and improve.

I'm in good company, and I'm honored to be included in the list of VMware vExperts for 2010.  Congratulations to all those who have received this award.

And thank you, once again, to VMware, the judging panel and to John Troyer for making all of this possible!  This is a fantastic award, and it really shows VMware's level of commitment and the dedication that it has towards its community.
