iTKO, a leading provider of virtualization and validation solutions for enterprise cloud applications, announces that HP will be demonstrating their LISA performance test lab virtualization capabilities at HP Software Universe 2010 in Washington DC, June 15-18, 2010.
The joint solution of HP’s Performance Center and LISA Virtualize solutions will be presented in the Solutions Expo, as well as in the session "HP and iTKO: bypassing complex application performance roadblocks with service virtualization" Thursday, June 17 at 9:00 a.m., featuring Kelly Emo, Sr. Product Marketing Manager, HP, and Paul Smith, Senior Solutions Architect, iTKO.
For more information on the event, visit www.hpsoftwareuniverse2010.com.
The activity caps a year of product and marketing collaboration between iTKO and HP, following a July 2009 agreement between the firms to resell iTKO’s LISA Virtualize software as a ready environment for functional and performance testing. LISA is fully integrated with HP’s Quality Center and Performance Center solutions. LISA’s virtual models of dependent systems and services are leveraged by HP solutions to allow constraint-free, high-capacity testing with far lower infrastructure cost and test lab configuration effort.
"We are pleased about the growing level of adoption of virtual services among HP customers as a key aspect of eliminating constraints from functional testing and performance teams,” said Howard Sewell, SVP Global Sales, iTKO. “HP has had success reselling LISA Virtualize, thanks to a compelling joint value proposition. Together, our solutions create almost immediate efficiencies in customers’ test labs, including as much as an 80% increase in test productivity, 24/7 test lab availability, and 65% lower costs of maintaining needed test infrastructure and data.”
Upcoming Virtual Performance Testing Webinar June 24, 2010: To provide additional education for performance testers and developers outside of the event, iTKO is also sponsoring a Webinar titled “Addressing a Lack of Capacity: Virtualizing the Performance Lab for Optimal Productivity,” featuring iTKO Founder & Chief Scientist John Michelsen, and Accenture’s Performance Engineering Global Practice lead, Scott Gilliland.
Signup for the free one-hour webinar is available at www.itko.com/performance/. The session will cover 3 examples of teams using HP Performance Center (LoadRunner) and other load testing tools alongside Virtual Services, for better ensuring increased application performance, while cutting environmental costs and manual coding and configuration effort.
iTKO’s LISA product suite eliminates application development constraints using virtual service environments, optimizes discovery and resolution of coding defects, and improves test automation and validation for complex enterprise applications. LISA virtualization and validation solutions also support cloud application development to remove accessibility and capacity constraints in elastic cloud development and test environments.
